What's Going on In the field
The tunnels are getting productive, we have some lovely fresh spinach, also rosy red radishes, delicious "Marvel of Four Seasons" lettuce. The oriental salad leaves are flourishing, the chives are chirping ( no, not really). Justin has been planting the potatoes, the peppers and chillies have germinated in the greenhouse and the tomato plants have all been potted on. We are hoping for some early strawberries this year - it was a poor season for fruit last year but the plants sent out so many runners that we have decided to plant the edges of all our polytunnels with them. So please wish for more spring sunshine and hopefully some busy bees will pollinate the flowers and the crop will be a good one.
